Player of the Week

GRANT

Grant plays on our 2015 Premier Team. Last week, Grant displayed leadership, hard work, and helped his team to victory. This is Grant's second season with us, and he is proving that if you work hard, it will pay off. In goal, Grant had quite a few incredible saves, and used those leadership skills by talking to his team and getting them set up. Grant is the type of player that most coaches strive for, he is a good teammate and plays wherever he is needed to the best of his ability. 

Coach Hope had this to say about him, "I was interested to see how our 2015/16 returning players would adjust to being the more experienced ones on the team. Each week they prove to be leaders in skills and knowledge, but also in sportsmanship and teamwork. This past week 'Chef G', sporting his new gloves and cleats, continued to use his 'special sauce' to make awesome saves and juke out his opponents. He gives 100% effort and attitude 100% of the time."
