Emmanuel Castellanos

It was the famous Jerry Ryce who once said, “Today I will do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can do what others can’t.”  When I think of Emmanuel Castellanos that is the quote, that I am immediately reminded of. 
As I sat at the soccer fields and watched the lights turn off, I couldn’t help but smile at the empty parking lot. Just a few months ago, I waved goodbye every night, to a young man who refused to stop training. That empty parking lot, serves as a symbol, that Emmanuel made it. His hard work payed off. His dedication has guided him toward his next step to his dream. Emmanuel Castellanos is a signed soccer player with Fountain City FC, and that, is something to smile about. 
Everyone who knows him, has a story to tell. His teammates will tell you, he is an amazing player and gives every game his all. His coaches will talk about his hard work, and never quit attitude. Our directors and staff will tell you, that they knew this day would come. And on the nights when all of our team practices were wrapping up, and our players would stop to watch him train, you would hear the murmurs of how much they want to be like him. 
We are so proud of you Emmanuel! This is just the beginning!!
